Disclaimer: Matt, Trey, and every other real person in this fic owns him or herself. I just worship them. And I'm certainly not saying this happened or ever would in real lifeexcept for the part where they made out that one time, but whatever: semantics. I make no money off of this and write it simply for my own sick pleasure.
Summary: Matt and Trey's lives would've been a lot easier if, when they met, the introduction had gone a little something like this: "Hi, nice to meet you. I'm your other half." Unfortunately, their lives have been a little more complicated than that.
Notes: So...a summer or two ago, I convinced my best friend that Matt and Trey were completely in love, idk, obviously their love is epic. One might even quote the show and say...Their love is like rain. I wrote an epicly long fic based on the idea that Matt started dating Eric after filming BASEketball that ended with him and Trey falling in love. We jokingly called it "Rainverse." Then said best friend convinced me that it would be really interesting to see how different things would've been if Matt had just been honest from the start with Trey--told him he was in love with him, that is--and what Trey's reaction would be. Or, one might even say, if Matt came out of the closet, into the Sunshine. And...this is that fic. It's basically an AU of a fic I never finished or something? I don't even know. My original plan was to post it as a "Choose-your-own-adventure" type thing, because they share a common beginning and then branch off, but that never panned out, SO. HERE IS SUNSHINEVERSE, I SWEAR I WASN'T ON CRACK, AND UM...I DON'T EVEN KNOW, JUST CLICK THE LINK AND ENJOY.
Also, you'll need to scroll down and click the previous entries button to get to chapter 1, since I'm just linking you to the community itself, as it was too long to post on this journal as separate entries (73 chapters).
